Description

The first project embarked upon by the Ganduje administration was the construction of the Gurjiya low cost housing project. This project was located on a vast and accessible expanse of land along Kano-Zaria road. Under this scheme, the KSIP built 368 unit of culturally appropriate and acceptable 2-bed room houses which were offered to citizens for sale at a highly subsidized rate of N2,850,000.00 each. The offer was well received and the scheme turned out to be a huge success as the houses were sold out in record time.
